Hand trimmed, cubes of choice sirloin steak, seasoned and baked in its natural juices, topped with buttery and flaky homemade puff pastry.

Heating & Storage

The following items are fully cooked and simply need to be reheated. For the best taste and results, avoid heating in a microwave oven.

Steak Pies

If frozen, defrost in fridge the night before serving. Preheat oven to 325° F. Place on a baking sheet. Add 1 tablespoon of water through hole in cover.

Baking time varies based on serving size:

  • For Two: 30 minutes
  • For Four: 40 minutes
  • For Eight: 55 minutes

    ' Have had both the steak and the steak and kidney pies from Ackroyd's and they were both wonderful, really good. My only suggestion would be to add some Oxo, gravy browning or similar to give the meat a bit of color and make it look more appetizing, but as-is, the flavor can't be beat. Traditionally eaten on New Year's Day or at any family get together. Probably my favorite of all Ackroyd's products. Now... if only they also did a steak pie "wi' sausage through it"...
